The world we live in, as we continue to adapt to the impacts of the pandemic, simultaneously going through geo-political crises resulting in cost of living crises and all continue to unfold together with advances in AI and challenges around resilience, productivity and cyber security. We can only predict that 2024 people needing help will not decrease but is more likely to increase. With Penn Group of Companies and our Team we will continue to help where we can and pledge to donate at least £5,000.00 in 2024.
Penn Chambers Solicitors completed the Will Aid 2022 season in March 2023, raising an impressive £2,050.00 in early 2023 and by the end of the year, another £1,100.00.
This brings our total donations over the past two years to an admirable £18,950.00, benefiting all nine Will Aid Charities. Despite a slow start to the 2023 Will Aid season, we managed to additionally raise £200.00 and we are looking at time to be donated during the first months of 2024, and more donations coming in.
Saan Popat from Penn Financial demonstrated incredible dedication by running the London Marathon on 23.04.2023 for COSMIC charity, raising an outstanding £3,000.00 for this noble cause.
Team Penn participated in the Color Obstacle Rush, raising funds for the charity "In Memory of Dorothy 'Joyce' Aslett." Emma Aslett's efforts have successfully generated over £1,000.00 for Parkinson's Charity.
In support of Suited & Booted, a charity in the City of London helping vulnerable men enter the workforce, we contributed to their mission by providing suitable interview clothing donated by companies and professionals.
Quarter 4 charity, the Islington Veterans Association (IVA) received a generous donation of £1,250.00.
And lastly, we have raised close to £500.00 with Hexagon Legal Network. Every contribution will be dedicated to bridging the literacy gap for underprivileged children.
